Spine fractures and Osteoporosis can be painful and debilitating. It happens to 1 out of every 2 women and 1 out of every 3 men and cannot be predicted*. Certain movements and exercises place a harmful force onto the spine, and one of the most visible signs of this problem is a “bent over” posture. * Randell A et al.(1995) Osteop Int 5:427

 

Although the ability to POWER UP YOUR POSTURE may seem difficult, Marcia knows how to help you achieve this in a straightforward approach with 3 easy steps:

  • Unload and lengthen your spine
  • Re-Align your body
  •  Strengthen your core and deep posture muscles with endurance training

 

The foundation of this approach is based on The Meeks' Method, developed by Sara Meeks, a physical therapist with over 40 years of clinical experience. The concept of these techniques come from published research of factors that affect spine health, its impact on posture and human movement.

 

 

 

 

 

 

THE SPINE REVOLUTION approach has demonstrated positive clinical and objective results, which are currently being tested in collaboration with San Diego State University's Exercise, Nutrition, and Science Biomechanics Lab.
